Why is the CREC version priced higher?
The CREC engine code's supercharger core requires additional machine work during porting, so pricing on both the "sending in your core" and "no core" paths is $250 higher than our standard EA837 porting service, with the bearing rebuild and color upgrades priced the same as always.

Do I need a special tune for a ported supercharger?
No dedicated "ported" tune is required — your existing Stage tune should accommodate the extra airflow, but always confirm with your tuner before installing, especially if you're also running a smaller pulley.

Will this work with my current pulley?
Yes — this service is designed to raise your boost ceiling without requiring a pulley change, though it pairs well with our TruDrive crank pulley for owners chasing more.

What's the difference between the Custom and Factory options?
Factory keeps the stock housing finish; Custom is available for buyers who want a different housing appearance after porting.
