Descriptions:
Tomei began operations in 1968 as a race car tuner in Japan. Over the last 40 years Japan has emerged as one of the leaders in automotive research, racing, and culture. Tomei products have been utilized in nearly every motor sport imaginable. Tomei's racing heritage means their research and design team have first hand knowledge of the extreme demands racing puts on an engine. Using only the highest quality materials means that Tomei's products can handle the intense strain and heat a purpose built engine will experience whether it be on the street or the track. Tomei's attention to detail is second to none. All of their products are thoroughly researched and engineered to achieve optimal efficiency. Because of even miniscule differences in measurements can cause catastrophic engine failure, all Tomei products fall within strict tolerances. Tomei machines all of their engine components to enhance airflow and ensure proper fitment and seal.
With the increase in combustion pressure from performance engines in recent years, the burden placed on the head gasket has grown tremendously. To maintain the highest precision possible in a high performance assembled engine strict measurements and maximum sealing is required with the right torque values on each head studs and bolts are required to keep everything together to gain the most out of your engine. When bolts are screwed into place, regardless of the bolt type and strength qualities of that bolt, the pressure is always on the first 3 threads of the screw which takes the most stress. If the cylinder block is badly distorted then the screw threads can be damaged as well. Stud bolts with dynamic designs allows the screw bolt to take on equal stress on all threads which will greatly secure maximum sealing pressure for race and airplane engines. Since the cylinder capacity can fluctuate with the thickness of gasket used, the compression ratio can be adjusted with the thickness of the gasket. The gasket thickness will help with the final adjustments to get your setting closest to the target compression ratio.
Stainless steel was chosen as the head gasket material because of the heat conductivity efficiency of stainless steel to evenly distribute the heat and aid with cooling. This will greatly improve reliability and reduce the chances of a blown head gasket.
The natural high tensile qualities of Stainless Steel greatly increases the joint rigidity of the cylinder head with the cylinder block. This helps minimize the chances of the engine warping when under severe stress loads that performance engines go through when running high power applications. The result is improved durability and added power gains.

Are OEM products more expensive than aftermarket alternatives?
OEM products might have a higher upfront cost compared to aftermarket parts, but their superior quality and durability often make them a more cost-effective choice over time. Investing in OEM ensures you’re getting parts specifically designed for your vehicle, which can lead to better performance and longevity.
Can I purchase OEM parts online or do I need to visit a dealership?
You don’t need to visit a dealership to get OEM parts. You can conveniently purchase genuine OEM components from authorized distributors and reputable online retailers like Turbo Tech Performance. Our online store provides a wide selection of high-quality parts delivered straight to your door.
Are parts from brands like Mopar, ACDelco, and Motorcraft interchangeable between different vehicle brands?
No, parts from Mopar, ACDelco, and Motorcraft are typically designed for specific vehicle brands. It’s crucial to ensure compatibility with your vehicle’s make and model by checking part numbers and consulting with a knowledgeable expert.
Can I install OEM parts myself, or is it better to have a professional handle it?
While some OEM parts can be installed by DIY enthusiasts, the complexity of installation can vary. For the best results and to ensure proper fitment and performance, we recommend having a trained mechanic install the parts, especially if you’re unfamiliar with automotive repairs.
Do OEM parts come with a warranty?
