Spool Stage 3 Low Pressure Fuel Pump - DIY Kit [A90/ A91 Supra B58/B46/B48]
Spool Stage 3 Low Pressure Fuel Pump (LPFP) – DIY Kit (A90/A91 Toyota Supra B58/B46/B48)
Introducing the only true plug-and-play Stage 3 LPFP solution for the A90/A91 Toyota Supra B58.
Why Choose the Spool Stage 3 LPFP Kit?
Unlike other kits on the market, our design requires no drilling or cutting of the fuel bucket. The pump is secured using our proprietary three-piece bracket system, which locks directly into the factory fuel tank assembly for a true drop-in installation.
For customers who prefer not to drill their factory fuel pump top hat for the power wiring, we also offer a pre-drilled OEM top hat as an optional upgrade for $50. Please email sales@spoolperformance.us for this option or add as a request in the order notes.
The supplied fuel hoses simply tee into your factory fuel line using the included fittings and hoses, making installation straightforward and DIY-friendly.
Harness Options
We offer three harness options to accommodate a variety of builds.
Spool Hobbs Switch Harness
This harness uses the included 10 PSI Hobbs pressure switch to activate the secondary fuel pump under boost.
The Hobbs switch can be connected by:
- Tapping into the charge pipe, or
- Using our optional fitting to tee into the intake manifold.
The harness connects directly to the battery for power and ground, then routes to the fuel pump and continues into the engine bay to connect to the Hobbs switch. This is the ideal solution for customers who are not using a Reflex controller.
Reflex Plug-and-Play Harness (May Also Work with Rev2)
This harness is designed for Reflex-controlled applications that require both power and ground to activate the auxiliary pump.
Depending on your existing Reflex harness, you may need to depin the connector and swap the power and ground wires. This is a simple procedure that any knowledgeable performance shop can perform.
The harness routes from the battery to the pump and then connects directly to Auxiliary Output 2 on your aftermarket Reflex harness.
Reflex Flying Lead / Ground Trigger / Universal Harness
This is our most popular option and is designed for customers using the standard Motiv Reflex main harness.
The harness is activated through a ground trigger using Auxiliary Output 2. Simply strip the gray Aux 2 wire, connect it using the supplied butt connector, and plug the connector into the harness.
This eliminates the need to source terminals or build your own connector, reducing installation time and preventing common wiring issues caused by improperly pinned connectors.
Fuel Pump Options
Walbro 450
We recommend the Walbro 450 for the vast majority of applications. It provides more than enough fuel for most street, drag racing, and high-performance builds while maintaining excellent reliability.
Walbro 525
The Walbro 525 is recommended for customers with higher horsepower goals requiring additional fuel flow.
Due to its higher current draw, we strongly recommend pairing the 525 with our PWM harness. Running the standard relay harness with a 525, particularly in hot climates, can overload and prematurely damage the relay.
Optional Holley Hydramat
For customers concerned about fuel starvation during hard cornering or low fuel levels, we offer an optional Holley Hydramat upgrade for $200.
This upgrade is highly recommended for road racing, autocross, circuit racing, and other motorsports where sustained lateral G-forces can uncover the fuel pump pickup.
