SPOOL Low Pressure Fuel Pump PWM Activation Harness - BMW
SPOOL Low Pressure Fuel Pump PWM Activation Harness
Proudly introducing our Spool Performance Low Pressure Fuel Pump (LPFP) PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) Harness! Including Hella Solid State Relay!
We seen many companies sell LPFP kits with Walbro 525s but they run them on traditional relays. We DO NOT recommend this because you're running the pump full-time at 13.5-14V. We also recommend running the pump like this because unlike brushless pumps, brushed pumps don't have the greatest reliability, so running the pump on at 100% duty cycle is not ideal. Running the pump with PWM reduces, brush wear, bearing wear, and heat in the tank.
A Walbro 525 can pull ~20-25A under heavy load and even more on high pressure.
With our harness we include:
- Spool Wiring Harness with braided sleeve
- 10/12AWG Tefzel Wire (lightweight and good for high temp) - many companies you'll see run cheap automotive wire, that gets the job done; but it's bulky and not the good quality stuff you deserve after spending hundreds of dollars. Despite the insulation of tefzel being much thinner, it actually offers more protection and safety to the wire than what you'd get from regulator automotive wiring.
- Genuine Hella Solid State Relay
Now with this harness, it is ONLY a ground trigger activation, so for this to work, if you have a plug and play reflex, disconnect the positive connection. We also include a deutsch connector on the end so you can plug it into your plug n play ReFlex or if you do have a flying lead, we include the other end of the deutsch connector so you can turn it into a plug n play connector.

Investing in OEM ensures you’re getting parts specifically designed for your vehicle, which can lead to better performance and longevity.
Can I purchase OEM parts online or do I need to visit a dealership?

Are parts from brands like Mopar, ACDelco, and Motorcraft interchangeable between different vehicle brands?
No, parts from Mopar, ACDelco, and Motorcraft are typically designed for specific vehicle brands. It’s crucial to ensure compatibility with your vehicle’s make and model by checking part numbers and consulting with a knowledgeable expert.
Can I install OEM parts myself, or is it better to have a professional handle it?
