Sehr Gut Divorced Supercharger Cooling Ports, Audi 3.0T EA837 (S4, S5, A6, A7, SQ5, Q5)
The OEM Bottleneck Nobody Talks About
Tired of your engine's anemic, tiny little coolant ports? Yeah, we were too. The factory ports connecting your supercharger's intercooler to the cooling system were sized for a quiet commute, not a car that's actually being driven. Push more boost through that intercooler and those stock ports become the exact bottleneck choking the coolant flow you need.
The Sehr Gut Divorced Supercharger Cooling Port Kit bolts straight onto your OEM intercooler and opens the path up, no cutting, no custom fabrication, no kidney required (you'll need both of those for the rest of your build).
- ✅ Complete kit: four upgrade port adapters plus a full set of new OE gaskets
- ✅ Bolt-on fit: mounts directly to your OEM supercharger intercooler, no modification required
- ✅ 18mm outlet: sized for a 5/8" hose and clamps, or a 3/4" shrink-fit hose
- ✅ Works with OEM or aftermarket coolant setups, including divorced-loop builds
Bottom line: bigger ports, better flow, same bolt pattern. The upgrade your OEM intercooler should've shipped with.
NOTE: Hoses and clamps are not included. The 18mm outlet is sized to accept a readily available 5/8" hose and clamps or a 3/4" shrink-fit hose, so you can run whatever routing your build needs.
Vehicle Fitment
This kit bolts onto the OEM supercharger intercooler used on Gen 1 (non-CREC) Audi 3.0T EA837 supercharged engines, covering the vehicles below. It does not fit Gen 2 CREC-engine vehicles — see the note below the table.
| Make | Model | Chassis | Years | Engine |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Audi | S4 / S5 | B8 / B8.5 | 2010-2016 (S5 2010-2017) | 3.0T V6 Supercharged (Gen 1 EA837) |
| Audi | Q5 / SQ5 | B8.5 | 2013-2017 (SQ5 2014-2017) | 3.0T V6 Supercharged (Gen 1 EA837) |
| Audi | A6 | C6 / C7 | 2009-2015 | 3.0T V6 Supercharged (Gen 1 EA837) |
| Audi | A7 | C7 | 2011-2015 | 3.0T V6 Supercharged (Gen 1 EA837) |
| Audi | A8 | D4 | 2010-2014 | 3.0T V6 Supercharged (Gen 1 EA837) |
| Audi | Q7 | 4L | 2009-2015 | 3.0T V6 Supercharged (Gen 1 EA837) |
S5 / A5 NOTE: 2010-2012 fitment is the S5 Cabriolet only (the 2008-2012 S5 coupe has the 4.2 V8). The A5 was never sold with the supercharged 3.0T in North America; the European-market B8.5 A5 3.0 TFSI (2012-2016) uses the same EA837 engine, so confirm your engine code before ordering.
NOTE: This kit fits the Gen 1 (non-CREC) EA837 supercharger intercooler only. It does NOT fit Gen 2 CREC-engine vehicles (2016-2018 A6, A7, and Q7, or 2015-2018 A8), which use a different intercooler and port design. Not sure which generation you have? Email us your VIN at help@vorsprungautowerk.com and we'll confirm before you order.
Divorced Supercharger Cooling Port Kit FAQ
What's included?
A complete kit of 4 upgrade port adapters plus a set of new OE gaskets.
Are hoses or clamps included?
No. This kit is the port adapters and gaskets only. The 18mm outlet is sized for a 5/8" hose and clamps, or a 3/4" shrink-fit hose, so you can run whatever routing your build calls for.
Is this the same as a "divorced" supercharger cooling port setup?
Yes. "Divorced" cooling ports is the term the Audi 3.0T community uses for opening up the stock bottleneck between the coolant system and the supercharger intercooler. This kit is the port-adapter half of that mod, and it bolts directly onto your OEM intercooler.
What hose size do these fit?
The 18mm outlet works with either a 5/8" hose and clamps or a 3/4" shrink-fit hose.
Is this a bolt-on installation?
Yes, these bolt directly onto your OEM supercharger intercooler with no modification required.
Will this fit my Audi?
Check the Vehicle Fitment table above - these fit the Gen 1 (non-CREC) OEM supercharger intercooler used across the Audi 3.0T EA837 platform through the years listed.
Does this fit a 2016+ A6, A7, Q7, or 2015+ A8 (Gen 2 CREC engine)?
No. Gen 2 CREC-equipped vehicles use a different supercharger intercooler with a different port design, and this kit is not compatible. If you're not sure which generation your car has, email us your VIN at help@vorsprungautowerk.com and we'll confirm before you order.

Already in the supercharger valley? Pair this with:
- 3.0T Oil Check Valve Set (Timing Chain Tensioner) — stop the cold-start rattle while you're already working in the same valley.
- Audi Crankcase Vent Valve 06E103245E — the other common failure point on the EA837 platform, worth doing in the same service window.
