LS Gen 3 Valley Pan Cover Plate with Gasket and Seals Low Profile Custom Knock Sensor LSX LS1 LM7 LR4 LQ4 LS6 L59 LQ9 LM4 L33
The unsightly stock valley cover with knock sensor provisions is often the first thing folks throw away. Because most folks turn off knock sensors when modifying their Gen 3 LS engines due to detecting false knock and other tuning inaccuracies. We made this knock sensor removal plate.
CNC Machined from a block of 6061 Aluminum, this cover accomplishes the above goal and looks good doing it.
A good way to verify your engine is a Gen 3 engine. Locate the factory cover and look for the "V shape" cutout in the back, or make sure your engine comes equipped with a rear camshaft sensor as opposed to one in the front timing cover.
Gen 3 engines were typically used from 97-04 in 4.8, 5.3 ,5.7 and 6.0 engines LS version engines.
