Invidia [15-21 WRX CVT, 14-18 FXT CVT] Catted Downpipe/ J-Pipe | HS15SWADOC
The Invidia two-piece catted and cattless downpipes (AKA: J pipe) for the Subaru WRX have arrived! Once again Invidia has delivered excellently crafted performance exhaust components. Constructed of CNC mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tube TIG welded to cast stainless flanges, it's easy to see why Invidia has become one of the most popular exhaust brands we sell.
Both the catted and the cattless Invidia downpipes have three O2 bungs built in: Two for the factory sensors and one for an aftermarket wideband O2 sensor or EGT sensor. Because the catted downpipe uses a very high flowing catalytic converter, both the catted and the catless versions will improve exhaust flow and increase the power output of the FA20DIT WRX.
Installing an Invidia downpipe will require you to have your FA20DIT powered 2015 WRX tuned in order to avoid check engine lights and limp mode.
Invidia includes gaskets and hardware to connect the two pieces of their downpipe together and to your catback, but does not include new studs or a turbo-to-downpipe gasket.
Be aware: Many people have broken turbo-to-downpipe studs while removing their factory downpipe. We strongly recommend you do not attempt this install if you are not able to extract broken studs or are not prepared to replace some or all of the factory studs.
