Gasoline is what fuels us - literally and figuratively. Depending on whether you have a SuperCab or SuperCrew, the fuel tank on the Raptor holds either 26 or 36 gallons of fuel, which means that it is quite large. In fact, it’s so large that it takes up 6 feet of space under your truck, and the only protection provided by the factory is a thin plastic shield. Not only is the fuel tank a vulnerable part on the underside of your Raptor, it’s also a costly repair if it gets damaged. Protect your fuel tank and your wallet with the Borne Off-Road Fuel Tank Skid Plate. Designed to be tough as nails, the Borne Off-Road Fuel Tank Skid Plate is constructed from 5/32-inch plate steel and is ready to take whatever abuse you can to throw at it. All mounting points are recessed to provide a smooth bottom surface. This eliminates the potential to shear off or get hardware caught on obstacles. They also utilize existing mounting points, so you don’t need to drill or tap to install. All corners and edges are bent at 80-degrees and reinforced to provide even greater strength. To ensure a long-lasting and durable finish, they are first electroplated via electro-galvanization and then powdercoated black. Designed to be direct-fit and including all hardware, install should take less than an hour with basic hand tools. All skid plates are available for purchase individually, or for more protection, check out the Borne Off-Road Powertrain Skid Plate Kit. For the ultimate undercarriage protection, check out the Borne Off-Road Complete Skid Plate Kit. As with all our products, this skid plate comes with our signature Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Are OEM products more expensive than aftermarket alternatives?
OEM products might have a higher upfront cost compared to aftermarket parts, but their superior quality and durability often make them a more cost-effective choice over time. Investing in OEM ensures you’re getting parts specifically designed for your vehicle, which can lead to better performance and longevity.
Can I purchase OEM parts online or do I need to visit a dealership?
You don’t need to visit a dealership to get OEM parts. You can conveniently purchase genuine OEM components from authorized distributors and reputable online retailers like Turbo Tech Performance. Our online store provides a wide selection of high-quality parts delivered straight to your door.
Are parts from brands like Mopar, ACDelco, and Motorcraft interchangeable between different vehicle brands?
No, parts from Mopar, ACDelco, and Motorcraft are typically designed for specific vehicle brands. It’s crucial to ensure compatibility with your vehicle’s make and model by checking part numbers and consulting with a knowledgeable expert.
Can I install OEM parts myself, or is it better to have a professional handle it?
