The ATS 2029013228 Ported Compressor Housing is designed to increase turbo life in your 99.5-03 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke by eliminating the damaging effect of compressor surge. Offering significant advantages beyond a replacement compressor wheel, this upgraded housing with the factory wheel actually flows more than the popular compressor wheel replacements.
Anyone who has ever towed with a 99.5-03 Powerstroke has undoubtedly experienced compressor surge and flutter which occurs between 1800-2200 rpm.
