Exedium Racing Front Roll Center Spacers for S2000 (17"+ Wheels)
Roll center spacers are installed between the front steering knuckle and lower ball joint. Their purpose is to restore suspension geometry after the car has been lowered.
If your S2000 is lowered, the suspension geometry changes in ways Honda didn’t intend:
- The front roll center drops significantly.
- The lower control arms point upward instead of remaining closer to level.
- Steering response becomes less precise.
- The car can feel less stable during hard cornering.
This spacer corrects much of that.
Benefits
If your S2000 is lowered, you can expect:
- ✅ Improved steering feel and more immediate turn-in.
- ✅ Better front-end grip while cornering.
- ✅ Reduced body roll without making the suspension stiffer.
- ✅ Improved camber curve, helping the tire maintain better contact with the road.
- ✅ Less bump steer (depending on the rest of the suspension setup).
- ✅ More predictable handling on spirited drives or track days.
Will you notice a difference?
Stock ride height
- Minimal benefit.
- Generally not recommended unless you’re addressing another suspension issue.
Lowered 1–2 inches
- This is where the product shines.
- Most owners notice the steering feels more connected and the car corners with greater confidence.
Track/autocross cars
- One of the more common suspension geometry upgrades because it restores the front suspension to a more optimal operating range.
Installation
Installation is straightforward for someone familiar with suspension work:
- Remove the lower ball joint from the knuckle.
- Install the spacer.
- Use the supplied longer hardware.
- Have the alignment checked afterward, as any front suspension work can affect alignment.
Is it worth installing?
If your Honda S2000 is lowered on coilovers or lowering springs, I’d recommend installing them. They help recover suspension geometry that lowering compromises and are one of those upgrades that improves handling without sacrificing ride quality.
If you’re running the factory suspension at stock height, the improvement will be much smaller and may not justify the installation.
