SPDZ1 Wobble Bolts
SPDZ1 Locking Wobble Bolts
These Bolts are an amazing alternative to your standard off the shelf wobble bolts! They are locking in design, made more wheels with small hard to fit sockets, with a locking key design that interlocks with a 8 point star lock.
Don't limit yourself to your factory bolt pattern. Pick up these new Wobble Bolts and expand your wheel possibilities. These bolts feature a floating conical seat collar that allows movement up to 3mm of a wheel's PDC, which in turn, will allow you to run a 5x114.3 bolt pattern on your 5x112 pattern. On top of that, they are zinc coated to ensure long life.
How do Wobble Bolts work
Wobbly bolts have a 'floating' collar that seats on the wheel mating face. The collar is around 3mm oversized with respect to the shaft, giving it some freeplay.
This freeplay allows the bolt face to seat on the mating face correctly if oversize PCD wheels are put on. The typical oversizing is 3mm. Eg: It allows you to put 114.3mm PCD wheels on 112mm hubs.
As far as safety goes, don't let the wobble in the name fool you. Wobble bolts are completely safe assuming the wheel takes a standard 14x1.5x27mm conical bolt.
These bolts will fit most aftermarket wheels that use standard conical bolts.
